Our Mission
Welcome to Your Hospitality Resource Group! Our journey began in 2010 when I, as a Food and Beverage Manager at a prestigious country club, started teaching Tips part-time. It was during this period, while also working part-time at NC State, that I realized my true passion lay in training and imparting the skills that have contributed to my own success over the years. Driven by this passion, I conceived the idea of Your Hospitality Resource Group—an organization dedicated to providing comprehensive training and resources to individuals in the hospitality industry!
Since then, we have been working closely with NC State, assisting in training catering staff, certifying management and key employees in Tips Training, while collaborating closely with bartenders at various events hosted at the Park Alumni Center. In addition to our partnership with NC State, we have also forged a collaboration with Wake Tech Community College. As part of this collaboration, we are thrilled to offer a certified Bartending 101 course that includes HostU and Tips certifications. This comprehensive program equips aspiring bartenders with the essential skills and knowledge required for a successful career in the industry. Our partnerships have allowed us to make a significant impact on the quality of hospitality services provided, ensuring excellence and professionalism across all aspects.
