The concept of Your Hospitality Resource Group began in 2010 when I began teaching Tips part time. While I was working as a Food and Beverage Manager at a prestigious country club and picking up some part time work at NC State, I came up with the idea to follow my passion of training and teaching people some of the skills that has helped with my success over the years. In February 2018, I decided to make Your Hospitality Resource Group official and partnered with NC State making them my first client. I have been assisting them with training of the catering staff, certifying management and key employees the Tips Program, and taking a training role while working closely with bartenders at all events at the Park Alumni Center events. I am also working with Wake Tech Community College and offering a certified bartending course that also includes HostU and Tips certifications.

  • Catered events for Dr. Holbrook and Dr. Gee, two Ohio State University Presidents on Campus and at The Ohio State University Presidents house to include Board Meetings, Dinner for Senator John Glenn, the President of Iceland, and Robert Redford.
  • At The Ohio State University Alumni Club, hosted events for Alumni, Coaches, the Athletic Director, and 2-time Heisman trophy winner Archie Griffin.
  • Catered Events in the private home of Dean Rodgers, School of Law.
  • Managed tailgate parties for the School of Engineering for more than 1000 people.
  • Political Fund Raisers.
  • Managed events ranging from business meetings and corporate events to weddings and special member events for up to 350 guests.
  • Managed off-premise catering events for parties from 50-1000 people.
  • Created Staff Training Manuals.
  • As owner of Dave's Dogs & more, LLC a street vending catering company, I created two award winning sandwiches; the "Chicken Gyro" in 2012 and the "Nacho Pretzel Dawg" in 2013.
